Day trip to Lübeck, Germany

Not our first visit to Lübeck, but it is a first-day trip in 2023

It's the 1st of January afternoon, and with friends, we decided to visit Lübeck, a cozy city within 80 kilometers of Hamburg.

Although I was in Lübeck before and had a chance to stay at my friend's place for a week, I tried to capture historical buildings this time.

The buildings in the Old town are beautiful from the angle as much as from the front side. It's great to witness these old buildings being in good shape today.

Attention to detail is what makes these buildings look even better. If you noticed, the windows in each building have entirely the same design. That makes it more beautiful and photogenic.

There are smaller buildings too, some even very tiny, making it look cozier.

Despite not many historical buildings survived during WW2, Lübeck still has a lot of beautiful architecture to show, and in my opinion, it's one of the best cities to visit near Hamburg. Happy 2023!
